UBISECURE SUCCESFUL IN RIGOROUS INTEROPERABILITY TEST AS ONLY EUROPEAN IAM-VENDOR
The Finnish IAM-software (Identity and Access Management) company Ubisecure successfully participated as only European vendor in extensive interoperability program
The IAM-software company Ubisecure Solutions, Inc. has as the only European vendor with its Ubilogin SSO product passed the test program concerning interoperability of the SAML 2.0 standard in Identity Management. The very rigorous tests were arranged by Liberty Alliance and consisted of well-defined use-cases and test procedures. These guarantee interoperability between different products, and offers efficiency in applications, such as single sign-on and federation.
The value of the successful tests lies in that they confirm the security, trustworthiness and the interoperability of Ubisecure’s Ubilogin products. The products in the interoperability program were tested against one another in a number of real-life use-case scenarios to demonstrate interoperability. For Ubisecure’s customers and partners, this proofs the security, flexibility and trust mechanisms also in networks of federated services from different parties.
In many countries work is being done to connect e-government services and deploy public federation and e-authentication services, so that citizen’s can easily and securely access the services. The benefits for organizations that deploy e-services in these trust networks, is that they receive the necessary identity information through an interface and in a format well defined by the standard.

The tests are arranged fairly rarely. This test process was the technically the most demanding and the broadest in terms of use-cases. Many new requirements for the Identity Provider (IdP) and the Service Provider (SP) were defined and tested.
