Ubilogin HTTP-Header Authentication Provider is an integration product which enables that an organization to configure e.g. a link in the corporate intranet, which provides users with single sign-on to external service(s) that are protected with Ubilogin SSO. In the federated session transfer and provisioning of identity information, the SAML 2.0 protocol is used. The end-user organization does not need an own SAML 2.0 based IDP, as the Ubilogin HTTP-Header Authentication Provider product provides all the necessary functionalities for SAML 2.0 federated session and identity transfer. Typical use cases are when organzations need to subscribe to SaaS-provided applications of service providers. The product may also be used to link third party applications protected by non-standard authentication services, to standard SAML 2.0 protected services.
