Self-services for the extranet users

For the users of extranet services, Ubilogin eIDM provides extensive self-service features. One of the most important self-service functions is the ability to create and activate new one time password lists. Using this feature the user can, at any point, renew their OTP list and print new OTPs (30 to 120 per printed list). Again, no administrative efforts are required here.

The default method of OTP list deployment is printed paper. Users can use their own printers to print out these lists and then activate them with a separate activation code.

There's also another advanced and convenient way to deploy the OTP lists, as Ubilogin eIDM can send the OTP-lists as an SMS message to the user's mobile handset. This way the OTP lists travels nicely with the user, and it can be used without the need for a printer.

Other important self-service functions include:

  • password change

  • authorization management

  • contact information management, including the e-mail address and physical address
