Ubisecure Trust (på engelska)

Ubisecure Trust is a control center for federated identity systems.

Identity Federation means transferring identity information across two (or more) independent domains. For consumers, this means seamless access to diverse resources without unnecessary reauthentication. For enterprises, it's a new way to generate business by opening the doors of your web business to trusted partners. For government bodies, it's a way to reduce transaction costs for citizen e-services.

An example value chain for a customer transaction is vacation planning, where the user books a flight, reserves a car and books a hotel room using different services. When these services use federation, the user experience is improved and the partner companies can enjoy growing revenues as they enlarge their potential customer base through the partnerships.

Ubisecure Trust operates in three roles from one common management console:

  • Identity Provider - offering authenticated user and authorization information to trusted services
  • Service Provider - accepting third-party user and authorization information from trusted partners
  • Identity Provider Proxy - offering a gateway service to third-party identity providers

Ubisecure Trust supports standards-based scheduled metadata updates offered by large federation networks such as Virtu and Haka.

Ubisecure Trust is based on open standards such as SAML 2.0 and is tested for interoperability.
