Position Title: HR Advisor (Part Time)

Position Reports To: Chief Financial Officer

Positions Supervised: None

Hours: Part time (25 Hours)

Location: Maidstone, UK (Remote)

Salary: £30,000-£34,000 per annum, pro-rata

Position Purpose & Overview

As part of a growth phase, Ubisecure is looking for a part time HR Advisor to provide the HR support and management crucial to successfully executing it’s growth strategy. The role is initially part time but there is scope for it to develop and evolve, in line with the Company’s expansion plans.

The focus of this role will be to deliver people management strategies in support of the organisation’s strategic aims. The role will have both a strategic and an operational focus, providing expert advice and support on all HR matters.

Role is remote, based in Maidsone, UK.

Responsibilities – What you’ll be doing

  • Work in close partnership with senior management to prepare and implement HR strategy
  • Design and work across HR projects across the Ubisecure Group, where applicable.
  • Liaise with our payroll and pension providers to ensure regulatory compliance & smooth execution of monthly salary & pension processes.
  • Lead and implement the Company’s DEI initiatives & projects
  • Support managers and team leaders on all recruiting matters
  • Advise managers and provide guidance on HR policy and procedures
  • Keep up to date with UK employment legislation
  • Manage investigations and complex employee relations issues including redundancy and grievance
  • Develop and maintain HR policies
  • Monitor and develop performance, leave & appraisal systems
  • Monitor all employee records to include maternity, paternity requests and absence and sickness and provide regular reports to the senior management team
  • Coordinate work placement, intern and apprenticeship processes when applicable
  • Manage HR personnel files to ensure they are kept up-to-date
  • Execute, Develop and maintain starter and leaver procedures
  • Gather and evaluate market data to measure the organisation’s competitiveness for salary reviews, compensation and benefits packages

Skills and Experience

  • Qualified CIPD member
  • Proven HR generalist experience on both strategic and operational level
  • Thorough, up-to-date knowledge of employment law
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Experience of recruitment and interviews at a senior level
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional planning and project management skills and experience
