Johan Van Hove joins Ubisecure from ForgeRock in newly created VP of Nordics role.

Espoo, Finland & London, UK – September 13 2021 – Ubisecure, a leading European identity and access management (IAM) solutions provider and #1 global issuer of Legal Entity Identifiers (LEI), has appointed Johan Van Hove as new VP of Nordics. This new role is created in response to rapidly growing demand for solutions to enable seamless and secure use of digital identity, arising from an increase in critical digital transformation initiatives. Johan will be responsible for leading the company’s sales and business development activities in the Nordic region as well as throughout Europe.

Johan joins Ubisecure from ForgeRock, where he served for 9 years in various roles, most recently as VP Northern Europe. While at ForgeRock, Johan grew the European sales organisation and established key strategic technology partnerships. Johan brings many years of cybersecurity experience to Ubisecure, and during his career has consistently driven revenue growth, established new markets, increased market share and built high performance partner-first sales operations. Ubisecure was founded in Finland in 2002, firmly solidifying its position as the Northern Europe IAM leader ever since with a wide base of cross-sector customers, partners and newly established local offices throughout Europe. Its IAM software and cloud services help organisations securely manage digital identities belonging to customers, partners and staff to improve user experience, avoid identity data breaches, and keep developers focused on their core business.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Ubisecure as one of the very few true European IAM specialists”, said Johan. “Digital identity has never been more critical for organisations to get right, and in particular Ubisecure’s unique strengths in B2B IAM, Legal Entity Identifiers, as well as the team’s thought leadership around delegation and enforcing rights governance, provide exciting opportunities for growth.”

Simon Wood, Ubisecure CEO, said, “This new strategic role will be key as we continue our expansion across Europe to meet the demands of our customers and partners. Having an industry veteran with Johan’s experience and calibre on board, with his strong background in digital identity solutions and his vision to support a pan-European partner network, will be instrumental for Ubisecure as we enter our next phase of growth.”
