RapidLEI and Ceviant announce partnership with webinar today on, “Legal Entity Identifiers: Key Applications in AML & other areas”
LONDON, UK – 28 February 2023 – Today, RapidLEI announce a partnership with UK-based FinTech, Ceviant. The partnership enables Ceviant to build Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) issuance into its treasury platform, using RapidLEI’s automated LEI issuance APIs.
RapidLEI is a service from identity leader, Ubisecure. It is the world’s number one issuer of new LEIs – 20-digit alphanumeric codes which uniquely identify a business on a global scale. RapidLEI offers automated LEI issuance, which is also available as an API to be built into partner offerings, creating a host of new and innovative LEI use cases.
Ceviant is a FinTech company that delivers a broad range of treasury and trade solutions to a large and diversified client base, including corporates & multinationals, SMEs, importers and exporters. With the RapidLEI partnership, it now mandates the use of an LEI in its platform, so that a code is assigned to companies, funds, and other financial entities to allow for accurate and efficient tracking of transactions.
Benjamin Würzburger, Group COO at Ceviant, said, “the LEI is incredibly important to increasing transparency in international business and trade, whilst also streamlining such processes and eliminating data duplication. No wonder adoption of LEIs has been – and is still – growing fast. We’re delighted to partner with RapidLEI to offer these benefits to our customers, all in one place on our platform.”
Nathan Tourret, Strategic Partner Manager at RapidLEI, said, “LEIs are of course a regulatory requirement in many cases, like MiFID II, and Ceviant are offering issuance in the most efficient way for its customers – all within its platform. Ceviant are also visionaries in realising the true potential of the LEI, such as addressing the importance of LEIs in emerging markets, where trusted identity is an enabler to economic growth.”
The pair join together in a webinar today, discussing insights on LEIs and their role in AML and other key financial areas. Attendees consist of treasurers and financial professionals seeking to stay current on advancements in compliance, risk management, and financial transactions.
