John Jellema This release contains a few corrections and improvements requested by our customers. The new corrections and improvements can be found from IDS 2020.1 Release Notes.
This patch contains one improvement and four minor fixes:
- Updating of the email address for a user through the GUI now updates all the required fields. Previously there was one field that was left populated with the old value
- Updating custom attribute fields using REST API 2.0 (MOD04) with empty value now also clears the LDAP directory field. Previously only the SQL field was cleared
- Localisation using messages_xx.properties have been improved by making the language keys case-insensitive as well as removing duplicate language keys

- Due to these improvements, we needed to introduce a new language key to handle confirmation of role removal. For more info about this, please review Configuration changes in versions

Resolution
These are improvements from the CID 5.5.0 application released within our IDS 2020.1 release. Customers should use this latest patch when upgrading from any 5.3.x or prior version. Customers already utilizing CID 5.5.0 should review the 2020.1 Release notes (link above) to evaluate if this patch carries essential improvements for their environment.
